(Plated)® Hair Serum
Platelet-derived signaling technology, applied topically.
(plated)® HAIR Serum contains a processed human platelet extract rich in extracellular vesicles—microscopic, nonliving messengers that carry proteins, lipids and other signaling material between cells.
The proposed benefit is support for cellular communication around the follicle and a healthier scalp environment. The science is biologically plausible and supported by an early human study, but research is still evolving.
✔️ Once-daily topical application
✔️ Nonprescription and noninvasive
✔️ Used as one part of a broader plan
✔️ Not injected in this program
Encouraging results. Appropriately interpreted.
A 2025 double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot study evaluated daily topical plated in 39 adults with self-perceived mild-to-moderate thinning. Participants were followed for up to 9 months.
WHAT TO EXPECT
Consistency, Monitoring, and Realistic Timelines
Hair biology moves slowly. Progress is evaluated over months, not days, and visible response varies with diagnosis, follicle viability, adherence and the correction of underlying contributors.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Clear answers before you begin
-
No. Hair loss has many causes, and (plated)® has not been established for every diagnosis. Your history and scalp evaluation determine whether it is reasonable to include.
-
No. In this program, plated® HAIR Serum is used only as a topical product applied to the scalp. It is not injected.
-
Not automatically. Depending on your diagnosis, it may be used alone as a cosmetic adjunct or combined with better-established medical treatments. Your options, evidence and preferences will be discussed during consultation.
-
The published pilot study identified changes beginning within the first few months, with continued assessment through nine months. Individual results vary, and a meaningful trial generally requires consistent use and follow-up.
-
No topical serum can correct iron deficiency, thyroid dysfunction, medication effects, hormonal changes or other systemic contributors. Those issues require their own evaluation and treatment.
-
No. Response depends on the cause and duration of hair loss, follicle viability and individual biology. No responsible hair-restoration treatment can guarantee regrowth.
